A Wind Named Amnesia and Dark Side Blues would probably turn out to be pretty good live action films. Vampire Hunter D on the other hand they should stay the hell away from. Especially if it is made in Japan.

Particularly Amnesia's pointless sex at the end would work well with Hollywood. Laughing

enurtsol: I'm assuming something got lost in the translation from the book to the anime, so I'm waiting for the release, so I can understand the ending. My interpretation of that ending, though, is that the alien woman fell in love with him, and she wanted to share an intimate moment with him before she returned the Earth back to its original state and left for good.
