I just received the Escaflowne Ultimate edition and noticed that the documentation for the soundtrack cd and the CDDB record both have information for 25 tracks on the CD, but there is a 26th track. I haven't been able to find any information on this track and would like to know if anyone else has noticed this and has information on this track.

I'm not sure why the track's unlisted, but here's what it is:

IIRC, the track is unlisted on the Japanese release, as well. Sort of a not-really-hidden hidden track. So, Bandai just translated the Japanese track listing. Personally, I thought it was pretty cool.
The song also appears on one of Maaya's CDs, so song information (lyrics, track name, etc) was pulled from there. |

Is that music CD just a complilation soundtrack, or is it new music? I have the soundtracks, but I would love to hear more music. I don't know anybody who has the box set, so I've never heard it. Could somebody tell me so that I won't waste my money?

The soundtrack, which comes in the movie Ultimate Edition, is the movie soundtrack. Nothing new. |
