I checked out the preview and I have to admit that it's definitely worth the $29.99 that the distributors are charging for a 12-month subscription although it's going to be interesting reading it on my laptop instead in a paper format in English...

An interesting idea (I've always liked Danbooru-style hover-translations), but their viewing applet needs a little work. The 100% zoom needs to be scaled to fit the page, so it will appear at a decent size on higher-resolution screens (if you're reading off of a screen, the higher the resolution the better) .

I agree with kokuryu and nekedo about a paper version! However, don't you think that this will discourage layers even more NOT to learn Japanese?!
I'm not saying that you have to know Japanese to be a layer...but if you look at the pictures constantly without text, things may be, not to be stupid in referring the movie but, lost in translation!

Perhaps a paper version wouldn't sell here enough to make a profit like what happened with Newtype. Hopefully Newtype's owners will also try this route.

It is nice to see the magazine online, that way I won't have to worry about money or space as I've got too many magazines and books to begin with.
