been a reader for a long time this is my first post though. i had read somewhere about people asking about anime in hd and was looking around at what hd dvds are going to come out soon and saw Appleseed Ex Machina is coming out on HD DVD april first. i caught the first appleseed when it ran on encore and glad this one is going to be in HD. are there any more titles that are coming out on HD DVD or BLURAY any time soon that people know about? sorry if this is a repost. i did a search before i posted and didn't see anything. HD DVD RELEASE DATES

ANN keeps a list of titles here for Blu-ray titles. BVUSA said that they will release Freedom 5-7 on HD DVD (you can already pre-order 5 and 4 was shipped). I believe Twister and Freedom are the only HD DVD titles which have release dates after April.
Most of the other HD DVD pre orders like Cloverfield, Sweeny Todd, and Bee Movie have been officially canceled by their studios. I really hope BVUSA doesn't change their mind on Freedom since I would love to get the rest of the series. |
