I wonder if it will be sold separately as well? Getting it and a manga volume for $40 actually isn't that bad for anime but the manga only coming with a DVD version is a major turnoff.

They're doing the same thing with the Negima! movie, so don't get your hopes up. With these types of things it's better to sell it with the manga as a LE because it at least gives them enough sales no matter what to break even.

I would kill for a HD copy of both movies and the Negima OVDs but thats not happening due to have they handled the release.

Wasn't the movie edition of Hayate a "volume 99"? it was Negima that was #0 issue.

Who knows. Hayate is probably the only series where it's actually cheaper to import it from Japan than it is to buy the US releases.
