Anime cry I wish I lived near or in New York. I have a slight background in broadcasting and performance, so this would be like a dream gig. Boo...

I feel your pain. This was the first job opening they've had that I might actually have been able to qualify for. I was actually feeling pretty excited until the New York line.

^^ i know, but unfortunately, I doubt I'd have the capabilities to move to NYC anytime soon. Plus, I'm guessing the bias would work more AGAINST me than for me.. *cry* I don't think he thinks I could do it anyway.

Arrgh! I have the experience, the age and diction but I don't live near NYC! Sigh...another dream crashed into the distance.

Hmmnn... I'm in NYC about 2-3 days a week now.

Background in acting (including film credits)... check.

Background in broadcasting... check.

Love of anime... check.

might be worth thinking about...

Damn it, you have to live near NYC. Sad I would have loved to apply for this, as I have great reading skills (I get complemented on them all the time at work) and I'm sure I wouldn't have any problem with on-camera poise.

No. Bamboo will continue to do video coverage from conventions. This is another project.

....and this was something I could have done. *sigh* maybe one day i'll either:
a. be able to move
or b. be somewhere the're hiring.
