After that fine line the anime was teetering on between ecchi and pseudo-hentai (especially on episode 4 when Ink-chan and Sumi-chan were trying to set themselves free from a tentacle monster that's dripping white goo), I'm not that surprised at all! Laughing

LOL bummer i'll have to find the dvd release.. Though this show is very rude and a little to detailed some times, it's still a funny show. Though I'd have to bet it'll never be released in English or even Japanese with subs because of it's nature.

The show has been getting more "blunt" with Ink's antics, to say the least.
They're not even trying to hide it, heh.
So, I guess someone noticed that it was going a little overboard. With the theme as clear as day, I'm a little surprised.

It's fun, interesting, and grotesques all rolled into a cutesy moe-blob.

Somehow I'm not surprised. I watched the first two episodes and couldn't stand to go any further because the show just made me feel so... dirty. And not in a good way.

Well isn't that special....

You know you've gone too far when a lolicon such as myself won't touch it.

No, but they sure look it, and that's the point I think the show makers were trying to make.

I'm for teaching English in a anime, but that was just wrong. I couldn't even finish episode two. Whoever made that needs to be checked for pedophilia.

I'm surprised no one has chimed in and screamed bloody murder yet.

The sad thing is that this anime is only catering to its target audience's needs. An even more sad thing is that I don't know what was in this episode that it could not be broadcasted, but it had to be more than uncensored (=nude) transformation sequences - apparently those have been given the green light before.

I am an 18-year-old (turning 19) female and both me and my 15 year old sister absolutely love this show.
(...what?)
I think its adorable, and the pervertedness only makes me giggle a little. But, I've only seen episodes 1 to 3. Even though there's some loli-fanservice, I find the show pretty harmless cute fun, so I'm pretty curious as to what exactly is going on that's made it unairable.
But does anyone remember that a certain episode of Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu didn't air in Japan because it contained a kidnapping that was coincidentally similar to a real-life one that was big news at the moment? And that episode of Koi Kaze that spoke about divorce, a taboo subject. Maybe its something like that?

All I can say from having watched the even-funnier-than-Pretty Sammy first three episodes is that I pray that this series will get a Region 1 release, and I pray that, if it does, it won't end up on Canada Border Service Agency's infamous "Prohibited Importations Unit" list because of whatever is contained in the fifth episode.

Some of the analyses here don't feel particularly neutral...

I was a bit surprised that some scene were aired uncut; it wasn't paedophilic aspects of the show, but rather how close they came actual nudity without showing it...

other than that, I can't understand why someone would feel this is dirty, unless they had a predisposition towards underage characters...

For those who do not watch the show or have not seen episode four, I'd like to say that this is quote is taken out of context...

This scene was only a mental image of sumi's consisting of a pan of two images depicting said tentacle rape scene(in the first picture their clothes are torn at the midriff, but in the second they are both fully clothed Confused ) with Ink and sumi clothed but constrained in compromising positions that only lasted ten seconds...
The actual monster was a giant octopus-like creature with what appeared to be a proportionate scale size pair of striped panties on it's head...

While I'm at it, I may as well say that the tentacles were covered (not emitting) a more or less clear fluid... (not solid white...)

Sorry for nitpicking, I have a bad habit of obsessing over/about small details...
