Truer words have never been spoken.
ATTENTION ALL FANGIRLS: QUIT ADDING -CHAN OR -SAN SUFFIXES TO PEOPLE'S NAMES AND SCREAMING "SHI-NEEE!!!" OR OTHER STUPID ANIME ANTICS. NOBODY, IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE, HAS EVER FOUND THEM FUNNY OR ANYTHING LESS THAN ANNOYING. THANK YOU. |

Or blending Japanese and English together in ... uh... interesting meshes: "That's such a cute neko!" "You're all bakas!" "You're so kawaii!" etc. the 2nd example irritates me moreso than the others.. maybe because it's taking an adjective ("baka na") and turning it into a noun. but who am i to impede the development of the english language? sooner or later the words will either become widespread enough to be considered a part of an English dialect ("shlep", for example, from New York City) or it'll vanish and rarely, if ever be heard again in that form. |

"That's such a cute neko!"
LOL! Funny you should say that, cus when I was in a Japanese restaurant, they had a cat statue, and I wanted to know more about it, so I called it a "kawaii neko"! |
