Between the poor video quality and the fact that I lean towards subs, I rarely watch broadcasted anime. I'm glad that they aired the Azumanga Short Movie since I have the thinpak and don't want to buy the volume with the short movie on it for something so short. I've been also following the odd Make5wishes on Anime Network, but besides that there isn't anything on the Anime Network that isn't already out on DVD.

Now all they need to do is show subtitled anime so people will start actually caring. What's their status on the sub situation?
Every time I even try to watch their channel, I make it through about five minutes of footage before I run away holding my ears and whimpering.

*Sigh*
I wish they would get something finished with the new Akimbo PC format, otherwise when my Akimbo box goes dead on August 1, I wont have anything to watch...

I agree. They can bring the service/network all the way over to Hawaii, but not to the majority of the continental U.S. Hmm. I would love for The Anime Network to make its way to DirecTV and the Southeastern section of the country, especially rural TN. Comcast and other cable providers are available in Tennessee, but our neighborhood does not have any cable lines running through it.
*waits patiently*

w00t I'm in Massachusetts! But I get comcast.
I just checked out this BELD thing and it's the tiniest cable company on earth, it serves exactly one city in Massachuetts! I'd have to move to that city to get it!
What a joke!
