At least they actually have it listed where these panels are going to be at, and even listed on the AX site. Last year when I went to AX and asked one of the staff they couldn't find where it was nor did they even know that it was there

I'd be interested in the reviewing anime one. I'd be interested in hearing all the nitty gritty details that one looks for when watching, but don't necessarily show up in the review.
Also both of the titles make it sound like 'how to' forums. Is that what they are? Or are they just innovative titles? While I don't mind the 'how to' for one, I just hope they both aren't.

If possible could someone from ANN post a streaming video of the Getting into Anime Journalism panel. I believe that alot of fans would like to see it especially those(like myself) won't be going to Anime Expo. I also think that by posting a streaming video, this will probably cut down the number of people asking how to get into anime journalism.

According to the AX schedule the panel will be in room 104A of the convention center.

I am actually looking forward to the "Getting Into Anime Journalism" and "The Art of Reviewing Anime".
Those should be some really interesting Panels.
Anime Jounralism would sound like a very niche subset of writing, so it would be interesting how you guys do it and find it lucritive.
I would also like to hear about reviewing Anime from the writing perspective.
See you at the Con! U wukk be the crazy haired blackman with the T-shirt.

I'd like to see video for that one, pretty please While I don't plan on going into professional anime reviewing, I can at least improve my techniques for My Anime comments and fansite reviews. But I can't make it to AX. Maybe 2008.

I'll probably be going to that one, and while I don't plan on recording it on video, I'll record it on audio. And uh, take pictures probably too... To tell you the truth, I'm not terribly interested in the panel itself (reviewing isn't my thing), I'm just going to be there because there's nothing else I want to do at the time and the panel's hosted by ANN.

Well Pants, you could go to 632 and ask Snafu when they're going to continue their PPG series.

So their isn't going to be a panel on how to become a Voice Actor? I really want to see that, and I am sure every other fan want to. If I am able to make it out to AX I am surely going to show for this, definitely sounds interesting.

I wonder if there will be one at Otakon. I'd love to go to one by ANN just to see and possibly meet other posters I know here. Then again, the only other poster here I know is from Maryland is Viga of Stars. Not a huge Maryland support group here lol. Learning how to do better reviews would also be a huge plus so I could make My ANN section better and have more interesting posts in threads on a specific manga/anime series. Might also be fun to even meet some staffers. Though I have to wonder if when I approach the booth/panel if suddenly I'll be knee capped from behind as Tempest or Zac ride away on a tricycle.

We're going to try and host all of these panels at Otakon as well, provided we're not way too late in scheduling them (which we probably are at this point).
Edit: I've been informed that we've already scheduled these panels for Otakon.

Well, that is good news. I personally love panels (my 2nd favorite part of a con next to the AA) and enjoy learning new things so I hope this will be a learning experience. Quick question, does this mean I should wear shin guards?
