I voted events.
While Panels are important, and I will be reading them, they can be conveyed very well in written form. While events would be difficult to explain through writing. Although I hope you do both writing and cameras.
So my vote would go Events, Guests, Panels as 1, 2, 3 in order of importance for video.

I voted for the industry panels, but I wouldn't mind seeing a little bit of the masquerade, not so much AX idol. Also depending on who going to be show up as guest I would like to see those, but that's really a case by case.

I agree with Dargonxtc that Industry panels are very easily conveyed in written form. Along with that, it is easier to find the "important stuff" when searching through text rather than video. I would even just prefer summaries of the panels to show the "important" stuff.
Plus, I've never been to a con and would rather see the culture of the con by actually seeing the events the attendees go to. That's why I would prefer to have events video-taped.

I'm going to disagree with most here and say industry panels.
This year, AX is doing GDC-style roundtable discussions with keynote speeches from various industry reps. Unfortunately, these discussions will not be open to the public and will be industry-only.
I'm hoping ANN would have some cameras in there.

While industry panels would undoubtedly be more informative, and probably more fitting for the site, I'm really not interested in them....
But I'd love to see footage of the masquerade, and all of the costumes. If AX Idol is a singing competition, then there's absolutely no way to put it on the site other than video form, anyhow.

I think covering the panels is a good idea, it lets us know what we'll be getting over the next year or so.

I would vote events, but they always end up on YouTube (in fairly decent quality) already.

Industry pannels all the way! I want to know what's coming out, why, and if the people snatching up licenses are looking at what they're purchasing.

Just to clarify. This is meant for video only right?
I mean ANN will still have a report for all the panels regardless of where the cameras are, right?

I believe so did you see the Anime Boston Videos? I think that it's suppose to be like except possibly more in depth. Seeing as how it appears that there's going to be more cameras. And Boston was suppose to be the test run for Expo.

Insofar as I know these are specifically press and industry only events and I don't believe cameras will be there.

What I really want to see it the Haruhi trio and the Hare Hare Yukai dance, but events comes second. I'm not very interested in the industry panels since I agree a write-up would be better.

I'm surprised that no one but CatzCradle in this thread has voted for honor guests. Events can be fun but they usually don't have any restriction on video recording and people would post them on YouTube; industry panels will be covered by press releases anyway. Guest panels, however, some restrictions on videotaping may apply, and they are guests because they don't visit often, and chances like this are scarce and precious.
