A month ago, I received a notice from GSC stating the charity Nendoroid Miku figures were shipped. If you recall, they were shipping via EMS, which for me, have an average of 5 days for delivery.
I wrote GSC two weeks later to inquire about a tracking number (and the delay) and this is the email I received: Dear Robert Regarding to Nendoroid Miku Hatsune: Support version for worldwide delivery, We are plan to ship by EMS but this time we ship by Surface Parce. We are sorry indeed for the report's delaying. We are getting time to the shipment straightening arrival by shipping service about the customer whom the spare prick has not arrived now. Your order has been send on the 14th of July from Hong Kong. Please see below about days until arriving and confirm your arrival days. When your order doesn't arrived on this schedule, please contact us again. At any rate, just wanted to FYI those who purchased. Note: not sure how this will affect your shipping rate, but I calculated from Tokyo (SAL didn't allow me to choose from Hong Kong), but the difference in shipping was about 200Yen ($2 and change) for one figure ordered. As a figure collector, one of my wishes was to be able to order direct from the manufacturer (you know, to save money and stuff). Well, my wish came true. *eats crow |
