World Premiere of I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History

BERLIN, GERMANY - July 1, 2024 - Anime Messe Babelsberg is thrilled to announce the world premiere of the highly anticipated new anime series, "I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History," in collaboration with the anime studio, MAHO FILM. The three-day convention from July 19 to 21 at Filmpark Babelsberg near Berlin will host anime director Yūji Yanase and character designer Yuko Watanabe for this global debut.
The new anime series, set to launch in October 2024 in Japan, follows the story of Alicia, who is reincarnated as the villainess in her favorite otome game. Disgusted by typical heroines, she aspires to become the greatest villainess in history. To achieve this, she must become strong and intelligent. Despite her evil plans and wicked deeds, she gains the affection and admiration of those around her, including the kingdom's prince, who values her determination. Will Alicia achieve her goal of becoming a feared villainess, or will the kindness and love of the people around her change her path? This story of a woman taking an unexpected route in another world begins!
The Anime Messe Babelsberg 2024 attendees can look forward to experiencing the world premiere together with the esteemed guests on Saturday at 2:40 pm. Additionally, there will be a special Live Drawing Panel on Sunday at 4:40 pm. Every day, there will be signing sessions with Yūji Yanase and Yuko Watanabe.
