i'll just post my memory of what happened to see if anybody can name it. so a spaceship is forced to land on an alien planet w/ roughly ten foot tall and decently thick orange tentacles that sprout from the ground. they group steps outside the spaceship only to find that one of the female crew is being absorbed by one of these giant tentacle things- there is nothing anyone can do. a different part is a huge war w/ one man hovercraft/motorcycles driving up a mountain under very heavy fire. this anime movie is probly pretty old and i have never been able to locate it. the anime art style could be compared w/ that of akira. HELP PLEASE!!!!!! any ideas would be much appreciated.
