Ah, sorry if you missed yours. You should send them a message that it was listed in your order but you never got it. It was probably just a mistake and their customer service is great so I'm sure they'd help you out. And that sampler is really neat, I don't know if they're all the same but the one I got came with samples of Black Cat, Zombie Powder, Bobobo (well they could have skipped this, I tried reading it but blech), D Grey Man, Claymore, Reborn, and Buso Renkin. I was surprised because I didn't even have any Viz products in my order. |

I enjoy the freebies, provided they don't become redundant. I know there's a BabesBladesBloodBeauty Funimation sampler DVD out there. Since my local Best Buy never got any in, I'd be very excited to get one of these discs in a Rightstuf box. So what do I get sent? About 20 Samurai 7 sampler DVDs. It gets very, very hard to give these away after the first dozen, ya know. 
(I know, odd thing to complain about, but I have reached the point where I'm seriously annoyed at finding the same sampler in my boxes over and over again. I already have one, for crying out loud! Send it to someone else!) |

Well, I don't know about you, but for my order, when I recieved a partial shipment on it, the packing slip had the Viz Sampler crossed out and had a hand written 'Out of Stock' on it. It's kinda annoying that they didn't fix their website to not automatically add it if they no longer have it, since I assume they only recieved 'X' amount and that's all they are/were going to get. As for their customer service, I keep hearing great things about them, but I feel as if I'm the only one who disagrees here. I agree that it's set up well, but the replies I've gotten just seem to be rude/have attitude to them. The last one I recieved, the way it was worded, made me think that had I emailed earlier in the day (you know, during my work hours) the answer would have been different/in my favor. It makes me almost sorry I finally joined their 'Got Anime?' program.

Well to be fair, I ordered about 20 different items, split into two orders, made about 5 days apart. On my first order they did send me a Shoujo Beat sampler which enjoyed quite a bit. However on the second order they said a sample whould be present as well, but that was never sent, which made me a little mad as I was looking forward to see the Shouen Jump sample. If I didn't enjoy the first as much as I did, I probably whouldn't have cared as much. But you are right, those are quite neat looking books, and they give you a chance to read something you may not have even have cosidered before. DuelLadyS: Yes redundant Funimation DVDs, get annoying, I got about 5 Samurai7, and no BBB dvds. It would be nice to keep track of who has been sent what, but thats not going to happen, because it is just more work for them, for something that is free anyway. Shorty22: Yes that would be nice, but it falls under the more work category(see above). And again its really not that big of a deal to me, but the books were among the best little freebies I have ever gotten. So I was looking forward to them. As for the customer service, I have never really had a problem with them. True any messages I get are short and very to the point. But I have never been very much of a person who feels one has to be treated nicely in order to get served. But maybe they should look into that. Also it may have to do with volume and time allotment issues. But since I use there site as much as I do, I really con't complain, it was just a little something I wanted to vent about at the time. |
