Based on the teaser looks like this new anime will ignore the ending of the original series. That's OK the original series was mostly episodic anyway. I am definitely watching the sub version. After what most of the dun cast did, I refuse to watch any dub with their voices!

It looks like the new anime will ignore the ending of the original series. That's OK the original anime was mostly episodic in nature.
It doesn't look like Corset is coming back at least not from this trailer. Maybe the second trailer.

Full agree, the dub is the reason the show has so many fans, so I’ll be glad to see Jamie and Monica reprising, I wonder who they’ll get to voice Garterbelt, cause casting a white VA for a black character doesn’t fly, I’m thinking AJ Beckles, but also CR has been using a lot of newer VAs, so we could see a new VA, either way, cannot wait for this show to come out

AJ Beckles? As Garterbelt? I figure they'd want to go with a similar voice to Christopher Sabat. Someone like Bill Butts or Gabe Kunda.

I don't see why casting a white VA for Garterbelt doesn't fly, it's just voice acting and limiting who can get a role seems pretty un-inclusive. Let people voice act who they're fit, not because of the colour of the skin

Hopefully they actually do this one right. Seems like most reboots over the past decade at least have ranged from mid to atrocious. Fingers crossed...

I thought about Gabe Kunda too, Bill Butts might be a better, I might be biased because Beckles is one of my favourite VAs

I agree with your sentiment but that's just not how the American voice acting industry operates anymore. They shifted away from color blind casting years ago after incidents like The Problem with Apu. I don't watch dubs so it doesn't affect me so I'm glad the Japanese side managed to bring back everyone even people I thought retired from voice acting. It does make me wonder if they'll tone down the dub this time around though. The old dub inserted a lot of jokes and language that wouldn't fly today. It wasn't Ghost Stories levels of offensive or anything but I doubt the characters will be calling each other slurs and stuff still like the old dub was kind of infamous for.

As a black guy, I also don't understand the silly logic of needing a black guy to voice a black character. I thought Chris did a good job voicing Garterbelt. If race-blind voice casting is somehow bad now, then why is it okay for Kim Campbell to voice Nagatoro in "Don't Toy With Me Miss Nagatoro"? For the record, I thought she was great in that show.

No worse than your average South Park or Family Guy episode. There is zero point in holding back these days when shows don't require editing for tv.
