Huh, didn't know this was getting an anime. Wonder if they'll keep all the sex scenes.

So, Amazon is going to conquer an isekai world now.

I can't deny the appeal of a Junichi Suwabe led Isekai show with an all-star cast for his Harem of cute girls.

Look, I'm just gonna say it: isekai in general have become a blight on anime and people with mundane skills/jobs in isekai are an actual cancer on anime. When is this accursed trend going to end?

Thank you! Unfortunately, the trend has become a subgenre. I'm all for people watching what they enjoy, but most Isekai are garbage. Though, I have a bigger problem with power fantasies in general. I can't suffer a Mary Sue protagonist who's supposedly weak but actually overpowered.

I've been an active anime fan since 2009 and I'm pretty familiar with older works even if I haven't seen them. I know that trends come and go, but I don't think I've ever seen a genre persist... like weeds... the way isekai has/is. I don't think I've seen a genre spawn as many titles and do so in a way that is so rigidly derivative. If I wasn't so appalled by the phenomenon, I'd actually be a little impressed at the genre's sheer staying power and ability to metastasize.
...
I'm not entirely certain that Satan isn't involved.
