Seasons 7 & 8 need a physical release. Also Netflix, PLEASE STOP GETTING OF YOUR ORIGINAL SHOWS.

To be fair this is a DreamWorks show. It seems whatever deal Netflix had with DreamWorks expired so all their shows are being removed. |

"Stop Getting Original Shows"? Ok.
Also I am so glad this thing is gone. So terrible. |

Well looks like that show is joining with other Netflix's Original material that is getting remove from the platform. See this is why streaming has a lot of downside because even the platform's "original" program don't stay on that platform forever which is really unfortunate.
This isn't only limited to Netflix, this has happened to HBO Max, and other streaming platform when it comes to "original"/"exclusive" contents. I have a feeling that demand for physical media will rise given that more and more original contents are getting removed from streaming. |

This is a contract expiration, and one which will affect all of Dreamworks’s shows on Netflix. It also does not preclude the show from appearing elsewhere like on Peacock.
That being said, the timing is very convenient. VLD disappearing, at least for a while as production goes full steam ahead on a Voltron movie made by people who want nothing to do with it. |

This is why I prefer DVDs. You buy a dvd and watch the content as many times as you once and you never have to pay for it more than once a month
And I think the first comment meant "stop cancelling all your shows" in reference to Netflix removing Voltron The show was not cancelled just removed but Netflix has a bad habit of cancelling their shows regardless of quality |

Even bad shows should be preserved. Voltron had a big impact on the fandom, and understanding that impact and the fallout of it requires understanding the show itself, which you can't do if it's just deleted from history. |

At last until the DVD breaks and much by that point you’d had better hope the DVD have no since gone out of print as that will in turn lead to markups of any existing copies. |

That's weird, I thought they partnered on making the series. Guess Netflix just licensed it?

Yet another example of why physical media is so important. I never got around to watching this, because I figured it would always been on Netflix. Not sure if I can binge my way through it with everything else I'm watching. Here's hoping Dreamworks will drop the remaining seasons on DVD/BR

I hope it ends up back on Peacock.

I remember enjoying the first two seasons of the show, but after that I feel it went steadily downhill with each season. I haven't even touched Season 8 after hearing about what happens in it.
That said, I'm still sad that it's leaving Netflix since I do still have some fond memories of it even after it became a mess. It may very well become lost media at this rate. |

Yeah, wish we'd get the whole thing on blu-ray, I'd upgrade since I loved the animation, but I'm hoping for at least a DVD of the rest of the seasons to go with the DVDs we've already gotten to have the whole thing. |
