So it sounds like it was ultimately a budget issue that prevented them from bringing back everybody but Kenjiro Tsuda.

This is literally the first time I've seen anime replace 99% of its voice cast because of "scheduling issues."

Oh so it was about money after all.

In a show that is already a letdown in so many other aspects, to not even bring back the original cast... meh. It's a shame, I really wanted a sequel back then but not like this.

I wonder if there are implications of executive meddling in this recast too.

I am not sure what exactly happend but this does confirm certain things.

1. Despite having that TBC at the end, clearly it was meant as a jk as if it really was planned to have more the producers would of made the VA sign contracts to keep em in voice the characters. (They take contracts very seriusly)

2. The Reception for the series must have generated more unexpeteced interest and revenue cause clearly the anime was made as a last minute addition with that poor animation quaity and style.

3. Since it aired, many of the cast mates have made it big, as they wont work for pocket change. This season was still made with less budget but also clearly they actually gave it more attention than s1 did.

4.You can say what you want but we all know it was about the money, its aways about the money.
