Wow, that's three titles for AP this season (along with Tonbo s2 and Magilumiere), which I think is the most they've ever had in one season. Seems like they're starting to get a bit more aggressive about anime.

It's the most since 2019, but 2017 and 2018 both had seasons with more anime. Of course, this was back when they were actually trying to compete in the anime sphere. I wouldn't really consider the REMOW anime (Tonbo, Nokotan, and Haigakura) to be real Amazon licenses. Tonbo season 1 only was on there for 2 months after airing before being removed.

Not sure how to feel about that.

If only the English subtitles worked for the entire episode. Instead, they just stop at the 19 minute mark. I switched to Spanish and got the gist (I think), but Amazon has no way to report the problem so who knows if it will ever get fixed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I can't tell if this is just getting content to fill its roster, or if Prime Video wants to make a dedicated approach at animation again. Outside of Hazbin Hotel, they're not exactly known for animation.

Prime Video also is known for Legend of Vox Machina, Invincible and The Boys Presents: Diabolical in terms of animated content. But I agree other than those animated productions and their license of the redubs for the Rebuild Evangelion films, Prime Video doesn't know how to license and distribute anime when compared to Netflix.
