It's a tough call, because this looked interesting enough to try - I think it has a demo available, it's just that the general consensus seems to be that the asking price is a bit high compared to how much game is actually there. As such, it's one of them things I'm likely gonna wait for a sale and see if I can grab it closer to $20.
And keep in mind, this is a game that has a $90 Ultimate Edition - item boost DLC, extra costume DLC.... There's just no way that something that at its core looks like a budget title (but with the shininess of 2024 added to it) can reasonably justify prices like that, in my mind. It's the sort of thing I'd have rented, finished, and then forgotten about in a weekend back on PS2. |
