Episode 1 aired today.
The setting does take place in the world setting I had expected. The OP song is decent I suppose (Eri Aoi) so if you're familiar with her style, it's pretty much what it is. The setting of the show doesn't impress me much. I've played Fatal Bullet not long ago and once you've seen one place, it feels like you've seen them all. (the character designs seems to be faithful so far though) I'm going to have to get used to LLENN's voice a bit. The action seems fine though so far and didn't waste much time in getting to it. Also, there's not much exploitation so far which is definitely a plus. First episode felt like a video game. Also, I think the show is 12 episodes, based on the BD/DVD listings. |

Yeah, this is still absolutely SAO. Do with that what you will.

I liked it. Pink-chan is adorable. And fast. This one looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.

I do consider myself an SAO fan, so I am on board. One part I was particularly fond of was when we got first person point of view from LLEN, which reminded me of playing a FPS myself, even if I have not played a lot of FPS recently, except for I guess some Halo, or Fallout.
LLEN certainly is fast, which to me gives the image of a pink bunny machine gunning around. I saw some complaints about the episode being so much tactics, but not a problem with me. I have enough experience with FPS to know the importance of planning. Would have been nice to really feel like LLEN was giving something to the conversation, since she seems to have been more of a tool of M, but she has her stuff at the end. |

My complaint would be not enough tactics. If she can literally just charge into the middle of 4 enemies and take them all down, who needs tactics?

Well, she still has to get close enough to her targets to mow them down. P-Chan is clearly not a long distance weapon.

I thought it was a pretty enjoyable episode. I was relatively surprised at how LLEN seemed a bit more amateur (tactics wise) than I thought she would be based on a different description of the show.
At first I was wondering if she would later have some conflict with the guy she's with right now or if this is just a snap shot of her in the infancy of the game, but based on the cover art this guy seems to be part of her future squad perhaps. |

Yay. I liked the first episode, it was cool.
Those "pros" played it pretty stupid too. There was no need for them to walk in the open like idiots. The pink girl being able to move that fast is kinda unfair though. I'd be pretty pissed if I got killed by a tiny pink avatar that moves like it has speed hack on. I'm calling bad balancing. |

Episode 2
I approve LLENN's choice of gun. I used to have a P-chan of my own though my P90 was just an airsoft gun and it wasn't pink. Who would've known that bright pink could work as camouflage? Also I really like the ending theme. |

Interesting to learn about her height complex. Like the avatar thing too, that one often like to make a character that is different. Also does not look like GGO tutorial is good for confidence boosting, although I did laugh at some of the harsh talk.
She did seem to give up chances in other games where she was apparently a giant. |

Llenn's (I wonder why they don't pronounce that "L-N," Ellen) voice may drive me right up the wall. Otherwise it's ok so far. I like P-chan (who I assume is Elsa irl), and her voice.

It made me really consider the second episode again, where she had the quiet moment listening to the music while in the wasteland, and also when she asked if she liked music.

I like the sound of LLENN's gun. They could have just used some relatively generic automatic fire sound, but they actually put some effort into that. The high fire rate makes it sound badass. I guess the show has a bit of gun porn side to it with all the gun info and how detailed all the guns are.
I'm confused. You mean Pito? P-chan is the name of LLENN's weapon. |

Yeah, sorry. I thought I heard her call Pito that once, and I also assumed she named the gun after her.
