This was a really great interview, both in terms of the questions being asked by the interviewer, and the responses from the interviewees.
I always assumed Dark Souls (the combat & the volume of lore/delivery method of lore) and Xenoblade (the setting) influenced the game world of SLF, so it's nice to learn I was right.
And all that time and energy to draw Wezaemon truely shows in the completed product. If any of you have only seen the anime, I'd definitely recommend reading over how the manga did the Wezaemon fight. The anime was great as well, but the anime was only able to achieve that by doing it's own thing visually wherever it could, because it would never be able live up to manga if they tried to copy the manga's god tier-visuals during that fight. |
