Thats so cool, i think. What kind of catergory does it go into? Action, RPG? But the real question that i want to know is "will it make it to the US?" (i dont mean make it here like imported)

LOL, Gainex does it again! They build people up for a "big" Eva announcement, and once again it's nothing.
I highly doubt we'll see a US release of this game. There have been several Eva related games released in Japan, and not one of them have seen a US release.
Just like with their last "big" announcement, this has nothing to do with us.

With nothing more than an announcement about a game to be released in about 3-4 months by some company I've never heard of, it sounds more like a rush job than a "decision." I hope that the game never gets released, let alone in the U.S., don't get me wrong. I love EVA, but it's a simple observation that GAINAX has been making a lot of EVA announcements lately and all of it simply to build up hype. I hope they mean November 2004 or later, because if not, this game is going cause the same reaction viewers did with origional last two eps (Disgruntled viewers sent Ano death threats).

It's fun to read them. They are in End of Eva during The End. As for the game, I think this is either the dating game or it's an RPG, there was talk about an RPG before. If it is a dating game, I think it is more or less a girlfriend of steel two with Reai, Asuka, Kawrou and an Original chracter as options.

What do they mean by “world simulator?” Could it mean a MMOG?

it would be kinda nice to see an Eva game come to NorthAmerica (even the N64 one ), but if it's a dating game, let's hope it doesn't, there's enough people in a fantasy world as it is here

I hope it's better than Girlfriend of Steel (that was such a crappy game).

I was hoping for another movie or TV series, or maybe an OVA... since I don't have a Japanese PS2 this doesn't really affect me.

This is taken from Magic Box:
- Bandai announced they will release Neon Genesis Evangelion 2: Shinseiki Evangelions for PlayStation 2 in November, a war simulation game developed by Alfa System, feature full 3D graphics and 2D cutscenes, both Ayanami and Asuka will be playable in the game for the first time.
Sounds like a sequal to Evangelion 64 to me, it's the only Eva game that fits the description.

YOu guys/Gals in America can complain all u like!!!
At least u get some anime related syuff in America, I live in Australia, and anime is like gold down here. Half the stuff I get have to be imported from USA or Japan which is EXPENSIVE.
Maybe the new evangelion game will be full 3D with some headset or something. They can do it, and SOCOM the game uses microphone so it's only time till they get to headsets. Then EVA games can be like piloting a real EVA!!!
GAINAX will make a great achievement once again
