Whatever my issues with the story I could never deny Horikoshi's enthusiasm, and talent as an artist.
Congratulations on a well-earned conclusion to serialization.

It could have been better but I liked the ending, though, I have thought for 5+ years that this thing is getting a sequel so the ending being "just fine" could be an indication of this.
Seeing how the movie got the highest opening of the 4 movies tells me the reception was also good in Nipponland, a last movie to see that cool Iron Man suit in action is all I ask for.

I remember when he had to change Dr Garaki's original name because it was a Unit 731 reference.

One Piece is one of his favorite manga. You can actually see old fanart by him in old jump scans or some of the manga volumes, I think.

Overall, this will remain a series truly near and dear to my heart. Nothing is perfect and it can be enjoyable and thought-provoking to discuss what could have been. Thank you, Horikoshi, for this unforgettable series.
