Yeah, it does feel like the writer just wanted to be done with it and shat out an ending. Said ending also left several character plotlines completely unresolved.

I found the ending pretty lame... The buildup was great but then after the confession it felt like it lost its spark. Iida felt less like a character and more of a blank slate for people to insert themselves. And my least favorite romance manga trope;
they get married off-page and then we don't get to see anything of them interacting as a couple! They're the same but married now! I don't care! After all this bildup I want to see them kiss and hug and hold hands goddammit!!

Enjoyed the read, but yeah, the ending wasn't great. Personally I would have found it more interesting if they didn't end up together in the end.

I don’t care about the romance of the MC’s anyway. Just give us a spinoff of Kazuma and Sakurai! I always felt they accidentally switch the side characters with the main characters.
