Boggles my mind how this series is popular when it's dragged things out for way too long with its main couple of focus and other notable rom-coms that aired or published during its era already have their main couples hooking up romantically.

Let me guess; We're finally going to see Kazuya's NTR fantasies with Chizuru and Beret-kun and he gets a boner in the swimming pool animated.

I think the manga lost some popularity, but I wonder how the 4th season will be received, considering its source material is the start of the real downfall of the manga. It was never great IMHO, but I could see why some people enjoy it before, while later arcs were just utterly pathetic, with at most few chapters that *weren't* cringe inducing.

Was anyone honestly surprised after it already got 3 seasons? The plot of this this thing just drags on though, these two should just bang already.

I was thinking it referred to that self-described worst confession ever sequence, which is my second- favorite sequence of the whole title. Both leads get to be completely honest while pretending just the opposite, a huge dynamic change that carries forward into a fifth season and beyond.
And there will be a fifth season. And beyond. Eat it, haters.

I have no idea what sort of logic you're saying here as I never seen the first three seasons or read the manga. All I know is the infamous Kazuya has a boner at NTRing Chizuru chapter. That's the only thing I know so I have no idea how things go in the manga and my opinion on it is only on chapter 218 with some second hand research.
If this is supposed to be a defense towards the series I'm sadly not seeing it.
