WTF did I just watch...
I'm trying not to pin everything on the visuals because I also have no clue what the plot is for this seemingly slice-of-life(?) anime with a dash of magical swordplay. Maybe? But the complete disconnect between the characters and the photo-realistic backgrounds is so jarring, the fact that I practically count every individual strand of hair on the blonde one's head... It's too much. I'm a big fan of K, but admittedly, I dropped off between the film and somewhere in the second season. I hope somehow GoHands can collab with another studio and find a more "grounded middle" to their bombastic style. |

GoHands has perfected the craft of being wrong. Not even trying to have 2d characters blend within 3d backgrounds. Every character looking like they belong in different series. Killing animators by having every individual strand of hair flowing while a character is standing still.

Well, it definitely looks like a GoHands production but I get the sense they're focusing on the cute, SoL stuff to hide the more dramatic portions...especially with that OP.

Looks like they have a good crew. Association with Masterful Cat has me cautiously optimistic and at least their CGI makes for good looking food...
