I just wish that manwha's bigger appeal today, mainly via webtoons, didn't result in those earlier attempts at bringing over more "traditional" magazine-serialized manhwa being seemingly considered a waste. There were some really good & even great manhwa released during the 00s, and many of them were never finished over here. Unfortunately, with webtoons pretty much becoming the de facto face of "manhwa" now those prior works are now long out of print in English & will more than likely never be given a second chance, even if it was only via digital. I personally loves series like Chronicles of the Cursed Sword & NOW, while one of my friends was really into titles like King of Hell & Rebirth, and it sucks to know that those titles will never get finished in English, officially or even otherwise. Even Seven Seas eventually gave up on publishing Witch Hunter/Buster close to a decade ago, which at the time it was coming out was one of the more modern magazine-serialized manhwa getting published in English.

Hell, even titles that were seemingly big hits in English back in the day, like Priest (which TokyoPop managed to help produce into a Hollywood movie) & Ragnarök (which led to the creation of Ragnarök Online), are essentially now forgotten relics in comparison to modern webtoon successes.

yeah, exactly! webtoons are the default format for manhwa now due to how it's now concieved within the general population

I think my first manhwa was Goong. Oh the memories... I still think webtoons are a kind of revolution. Thanks to the user-friendly scrolling format, it's much easier to read on the phone than manga. And phones are the future (the present??), right? Whoever first came up with the webtoon idea was a genius. Too bad content-wise manhwa are still not on par with manga.
