Sorry for being semi-OT, but I tried watching the first season of the Kingdom anime, and it was pretty much unwatchable given its mix of CGI and traditional animation, with characters' proportions (even the protagonists'!) changing continuously.
That said, should I give it a second chance? Does season 2 onwards use CGI or a mix of the two animation techniques? If so, considering I don't like that since it pulls me outside the story, should I watch the live-action movies instead?
Edit: I fixed that "OP". I meant "OT" of course.

Season 2 still uses a lot of CGI, less then season 1 and looks a little nicer, but still not good. Season 3 onward is were the anime use 2D animation, baring scenes were there is meant to be 10000+ soldiers on field in panning shot. It looks a lot better, to the point that I can recommend the show to people from season 3 onward now.

Kinda wish to see an actual Kingdom game for modern consoles with RTS elements similar to Fire Emblem: Three Houses or even Engage gameplay. I think there's potential in that avenue... At the very least, a Musou game could work too though I'm not exactly thrilled at the idea.

Thanks for the info. Would watching 1 or two live-action movies (not sure how much of the story they cover) and then continuing watching from S3 of the anime be a good idea?
