No bleeping way! I wonder what that means for Daima...And the Sand Land anime. Also, does this mean it's time to finish One Piece? And I thought the Miura and YuGiOh guy's deaths were jolting enough....

This just doesn't feel real right now. He still had gas left in the tank. And now he's gone just like that.

It doesn't feel real that a legend died just like that, with so much longer left to live. Toriyama's legacy will remain in countless hearts and works.

This is so shocking to me. DBZ was one of my and many people's childhood favorites and to see him go like this is just...mind boggling.
I don't think even finished this series and this just happens.

Rest in Power, Toriyama-san.

This is devastating. Akira Toriyama created, in Dragon Ball, (and Dr. Slump, to a lesser extent) such a wonderfully weird and eccentric universe with boisterous, charismatic characters, and you could tell he wasn't quite done with it, after having been reignited some years ago. He was a very creative force.

RIP, Mr. Toriyama. The world of manga and anime won't be quite the same without you.

Truly, words alone can't really explain how I feel right now. While Dragon Ball wasn't exactly one of my foundational works as an fan of anime & manga, there's no denying the impact, influence, & (most importantly) enjoyment Akira Toriyama gave to people around the world.

Let out a loud scream, raised your arms up in the air for a Spirit Bomb, poke some poop with a stick while saying "Tsun tsuku tsun", or stretch out your arms while running & say "Kiiiiiiiiiin!!!!". Just have fun. That's what Akira Toriyama was all about, right from the debut of Dr. Slump.

Rest in Peace

This is a lot to take in. Toriyama's work has had such a huge influence on numerous other works that have come after, and yet it still feels way too soon for him to pass away. I'm not as big of a Dragon Ball fan as I once was, but I grew up with it and it'll always have a special place in my heart. RIP, sensei.

DBZ was my childhood so this is really upsetting. The fact he had so many projects he was working on is tragic, I wish he'd at least gotten to see all the stuff that was due to come out this year (and so soon!)...

This is beyond tragic, an absolute legend has died...words can't describe it...one of the first anime i had watched, and still like it.
I will never forget it until i die.
