They really went to a lot of effort to make Isolde look, well, just incredibly ugly, going by those shots. It's not the sort of thing I would comment on with an actual human being, since we can't help how we look, but with a manga/anime character, their appearance is 100% a choice by the creator, which really makes me wonder why. She looks like a slightly less macho version of Biscuit Krueger from Hunter x Hunter...

Uglier than in the manga, or ugly in general? Because I barely even noticed the difference. Besides, she's the type of character who's very insecure about her appearance, even if the part she's ashamed of most is her height (she's 6'4", taller than the average adult man). And even then, she really doesn't look bad.

I didn't expect Atsumi Tanezaki as Isolde, so that should be fun, but Soma Saito is perfect as Chion.
