Colette and Otaku Vampire's Love Bite are both excellent so this makes me hugely happy.

Honestly, my biggest takeaway is that super obscure 90s X-Men manga getting licensed, even if it’s only because of this year’s X-Men cartoon.

So happy we're getting more Ai Yazawa. I wonder if that means Neighborhood Story is selling well?

- Unsurprised to see Octo-Girl, but pleased. It's good stuff, and the creators know their Marvel.
- I read Trillion Game for a while before it succumbed to the Eight Deadly Words. It felt kind of absurd to me that they got as far as they did in their quest to be filthy rich without any idea what they wanted the company they'd founded to sell, and then seemed to be basing most of what they did on lying to their customers. And if that's supposed to be satire of venture capital culture or something, well, it wasn't one I found appealing.
- Kill Blue's popular enough in Japan that I'm a little surprised to see it getting the same treatment as Tokyo Demon Bride Story. On the other hand, it's certainly getting that release much sooner -- Kill Blue is 38 chapters in, while TDBS ended ten months ago. And it still doesn't do the numbers on Manga Plus that, say, Blue Box does.

If they're gonna reprint Shoujo, how about Please Save My Earth and Basara? Also, still hoping they'll bring back Bastard.

That Jojo manga's by the author of Boogiepop. The novel version was better, but the manga was pretty decent, too.

I'm only hoping that this is only the start of Viz bringing over old manga versions of Marvel IP. Naturally, there's Ryoichi Ikegami & Kazumasa Hirai's Spider-Man (which Marvel did release some of in the 90s, but it could use a new translation release), but there's also a short-lived Hulk manga that was co-written by Kazuo Koike in the early 70s that I'd love to see put out, if possible.

Viz cancelled Bastard!! back in 2009, and that was after years of it coming out twice/year, so I don't think Viz will ever touch that series again. If the Netflix anime didn't get any manga publishers interested in giving Bastard!! a second chance in English, then nothing will... and that saddens me, because it's one of my favorite manga of all time.

It's available through the Shonen Jump subscription service as individual chapters from when it was simpulpublished, but this is for e-books of the full volume releases. So they'll be available on other storefronts/services/apps and contain all the extra pages and whatnot that are included in the collected version.

I would like these as well, having missed them the first time. However, this Red River rerelease by itself is unexpected and welcome!

Wow! The first new Ikegami manga license in years. That's exciting to me as he's my favorite manga artist ever.
More yuri is also welcome, especially one where the two protagonists are already a couple.
