Thank goodness, I thought it was going to be 6 months like it was for part 1.

Thank f*ck for that.

Hopefully the blu-ray won't be too far behind. Since it's just two specials, is it too much to ask that they include the OVA's, too?

.......Yeah. Nevermind. It's Crunchyroll....

Not sure how they'll handle the OADs but they're going to have to wait a while to release the finale specials since Japan's release was announced for March.

Feels good to see a Toonami announcement article on the day of the announcement. I had faith we'd catch up eventually!

And now I finally have a motivation to read Attack On Titan. I don't want to miss this glorious finale for anything.

Phew.

F*cking hell. There was a buffer of roughly......nine-ish months between the Japanese release of the most recent (non-special) set, and the US.

It's almost admirably astounding at how incompetent Crunchyroll are. There are zero reasons why it should take almost as long as a year. Yet, here we are.

And on the OVA/OAD side, Japan's had the blu-rays since April of last year. That's an almost two-year-delay for all the mathematicians out there.

I always wondered why in the blue hell it takes so long. Is there a licensing issue because they're OVA / OAD specials?

Why would there be a licensing issue? Crunchyroll's had them up for streaming - and dubbed - for the better part of a year now.

This used to be a problem before the Japanese Blu-ray was announced but yeah, it's annoying how they haven't done anything for these by now, same goes for the compilation films they have.
