Kyushu? Then Barakamon, of course.
Shikoku? Then probably Udon no Kuni no Kiniro Kemari aka Poco's Udon World.

I've read the first volume, and I must admit it was a pleasant read. The manga allows for a deeper understanding of Hokkaido by incorporating elements characteristic of the region into its story. The first volume didn't feature the girl with pink hair from the promotional video, so I'm curious to see what kind of dynamic she will bring to the story.

I'm only a few chapters behind, but this is a superior Rom-Com and I'm looking forward to this adaptation.

Im not seeing any Gyarus, but 3 cliche White Girls. Does Japan not know how their Gyarus look like?

Personally I think you are mistaking "gyaru" for "ganguro" or even "manba" sub-styles. The main character is pretty normal representation of koguaru, just like Marin Kitagawa from My Dress-Up Darling.

Not every gal (gyaru) is a ganguro. Some gals can choose to not tan at all.

Also looks like a cute, fun, and fanservice-y romcom with an all-star cast! My absolute favorites!

Nice catches!
But those two have the prefectures as backdrop, it's not the theme itself...
I was thinking more along the lines of Omae wa Mada Gunma wo Shiranai, or Yatogame-chan. xD Like, random MC moving to the place and finding out how different it is from... usually Tokyo I guess.
