RGG7 Gaiden is the true #1 selling title this week, both individual SKU's and overall. Media Create (Superior Tracker) reported (on Twitter; now deleted) that RR7G sold 180k before the Famitsu chart released, which revealed 123k. This meant there was huge discrepancy. And the only way to find out if MC had made an error was to wait for their Top 5 chart (or hope the white book comes out) to see if the PS5 and PS4 version were both ahead of Wonder because in order for RGG7G to reach 180k, both versions have to be higher than Wonder and what Famitsu reported, plus, pre-orders between PS5 and PS4 versions were close. MC Top 5 chart shows RGG7G PS5 and PS4 above Wonder so the 180k is likely true. Even if the White Book reveals RGG7G didn't sell 180k, it would still reveal both versions of RGG7G ahead of Wonder on its Opening week because the MC Top 5 confirmed that. Wonder's streak at #1 has ended.
With that said... It's finally here! PS5 107.953 Xbox 2.578 PS4 1.330 It's almost as if announcing a new revision of your console (that's been blowing out Xbox since December 2022 due to fixing your stock issues) on October 10 then stating that you are getting rid of the original version so there won't be any stock until the new revision launches on November 10 then during that same week's chart the PS5 finally went below 30k by selling 19k then each week got significantly worse which caused Xbox to finally outsell it again (aside from Xbox launch week, it has only been due to stock issues) and since consumers couldn't buy your console due to no stock, those previous lost weeks were made up on the week of November 10 negating any Xbox sales over PS5. Now Xbox is back to competing with PS4, a last gen console. A new console selling 0k to 5k weekly without stock issues while the competitors are selling above at least 20k-30k and can sell 100k during certain weeks normally means it needs to exit the hardware space (of that country). But since Phil doesn't want to lose out on getting Japanese games, he's going against the norm and keeping it in Japan just to have that foot in the door. [ Removed by mod. Please do not invent an imaginary person and then try to pick a fight with them; please leave the Console Wars stuff where it belongs, in 2007. ] Anyhoo... For the 8th week in a row and the 9th time overall (first time) Pikman has been overthrown factually and historically. Edit: Mod, you have no idea what you're talking about. Creating false scenario's when you're not up to date or choosing to avoid the issue is slander. Ordering me to not imagine a fake being who is not a member on this website and not fight them is one of the most craziest things I've ever witnessed to justify removing text from my post. I have no interest in console wars. How about you focus on the people intentionally spreading misinformation (no one wants to force an imaginary rule on this huh?) so no one will have to waste their time and go out of their way to state the facts for the other readers who were misinformed. Also, console wars have no set period or end date as no one is the lawmaker of it, but that's irrelevant to me since I don't care for it nor stated anything close to it because I wasn't thinking it when stating the truth/facts that I needed to state. |
