Pretentious and insensitive as this might sound, part of me thinks that maybe this series should've stayed finished back in the '80s. Do we really want another Miura on our hands?

Shimada has always had health problems. The fact that there are two creators to this series seems to negate the Miura problem.

The best arc of Kinnikuman (and I'd argue in shonen overall) happened in the 2010s. Yudetamago has been putting out some fantastic work in the last decade or so, and it would be a shame to have never gotten it.

Hell, the new anime is adapting that arc next year.

Do hope Shimada gets better.
