I've said this plenty times before, but I never could get into Seven Deadly Sins (I found myself more annoyed by Meliodas than awe-struck by his power), yet Four Knights of the Apocalypse was a breeze. About half of what I know about the original manga comes from the sequel, but I was never once confused while reading it. So I recommend giving this a shot, even if you've never read or watched the original.
Also, looks like the term "Holy Knight" got accidentally linked to an unrelated OVA.

So will Netflix actually license this or not? It's a bit concerning since they failed to license Edens Zero season 2 before it was too late.

It would be weird if they didn't since it always seemed like it was a ratings hit unlike Eden Zero. In Eden Zero's case I'm pretty sure they just decided to pass on it because the numbers weren't there.

Yeah Netflix went out of their way to commission an original midquel, I don't think there's any worry of them not licensing this series

I wonder what they'll do with the Shaman King sequel then.

I actually had Ohtsuka in my head as Varghese...just feels funny they're reusing VA's because I'm pretty sure he was also in the original.

I agree with ssjtennis1. The case with Edens Zero seems less like a failure to act and more like a lack of interest. 7DS is already a tried and true name, and its sequel has that title attached.
