Utsumi making this and SK8 at the same time... hope she pulls it off.

Also, I'm convinced this was supposed to be called "Bucchigire!", but they saw the name was already taken so it's just Bucchigiri now.

Happy to see more original anime from Utsumi! I really liked SK8. Smile

Meanwhile, Sayo Yamamoto is still missing in action... (Seriously, did MAPPA lock her in a YoI-themed basement or something?)

I watched the trailer before reading the article in full. While I was watching, the look and designs looked so familiar to me. It started with the smile at the beginning that it clicked in my brain then I saw the 1 part with the character making a fist with their hand. The look and detail on his hand while making the fist... I started saying... "Could it be?" Then the 1 guy doing a pull up. The look and detail on the muscles... I see it. Then the woman. Her eyes and her hand. Then when the green haired guy liked his lips near the end. I looked at his face, the tongue, and fingers. I finally said... The Dark Side of Dimensions (which means...).

The ending with the Genie reminded me of JoJo's 2nd opening during the chorus:
"Yami wo azamuite setsuna wo kawashite
Yaiba surinuke yatsura no suki wo tsuke"

Let's go!!! One of my GOAT animators is back! Utsumi was one of the animation directors on Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions where Kagami was (anime) character designer and chief animation director because he's the animator GOAT of Yugioh since Duel Monsters. It makes perfect sense that Utsumi would want her senpai back since she did it with BF and Sk8. Before that... Interestingly enough, Kagami and Utsumi both worked on BnHA season 2's 2nd Ending. So which one called up the other for that? Anyway, this was expected.

As expected of the GOAT Kagami. Watch Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions for comparisons if you don't care for story spoilers (If you do care for spoilers, read all 343 chapters of the Yugioh manga followed by Transcend Game which is 2 chapters then watch the movie) to see his modern style.

That logic is flawed because there's a manga with a 4 episode OVA called Bucchigiri.

it seems to be having some arabic themes . the music and an arabic word appears on the walls
