This is a big blow. Ueno created works that were simply inspiring. He knew his audience and delivered. The industry has lost a great one. Lastly, the article doesn't tell the whole story. Ueno's last tweet on September 2nd stated "I'm dying. Help me." Before that, he made tweets relating to his deteriorating condition since the summer. Whatever was happening to his body, I feel as though it was the cause.
