Is it only Crunchyroll, or also on Funimation website?

That takes an insane amount of work. Frankly, with everything else they have to manage in in the fall season it's impressive they got the dub out as quickly as they did.

Mob Psycho was also finished months in advance of being aired

Given how far ahead the manga is from the where season 6 will end there is no reason this shouldn't have been the same here.

I like same-day dubs too, but I get why they don't happen as often.
Two weeks apart was about what I was expecting for a show like MHA. I hope this season's other shows follow suit or come out earlier (didn't know about Mob Psycho). Cool

It was my understanding that they are no longer airing new series on Funimation, eventually phasing it out as they move the library over to Crunchyroll.

nothing new is getting added, but previous shows that have new seasons are getting uploaded. So, the simulcast for MHA is up now and the dub will be added as well when it starts

I often wonder if the rush to release a SimulDub is actually worth it. I assume the voice acting isn't re-recorded for Blu-Ray releases, right?

It tends to be re-recorded for B-R. Whether or not Kyle and others will be afforded the chance to reprise their MP100 roles for the B-R is still to be determined.

It does happen, but it's usually limited to fixing errors, getting an actor to record for scenes they had to miss, and any differences that might appear from simulcast to Blu-ray

I just find it funny that 2 weeks is now considered a ridiculous wait time when not that long ago, it was considered speedy for a show to have a dub - on the home video release, naturally - within 18 months of finishing. It was genuinely abnormal that Funimation started dubbing Attack on Titan's first season just over a year after it aired in Japan.

Now 2 weeks is something people want to talk to a manager over Laughing

I'm pretty sure the wait is due to episodes being worked on right up until it actually airs. If the episodes were actually finished ahead of time we'd probably see more day 1 dubs.
