Tencent and NetEase ramping up their arms race. Tencent got the better deal here, though.

Does it though? It's still a minoritary stake for both and they cannot affect that much of FromSoft business, unlike Kadokawa which still own them - while NetEase got literally the whole studio.

Only sounds like it's a little better choice in terms of investment.

Netease own minority stake in Quantic dream in the past but now they own it 100%
So anything can change.
Sony and tencent also have few stake in Kadokawa too.
who's know what will happend in the future?
