Hi,
Sometimes I see in anime credits companies like Stereotype that are featured for "PV Production", but this is such a rare acronym that even extensively searching for it did not help. What does it mean? And why it is shortened in the site's engine, even though it is such a rare acronym? Thanks in advance. |

Preview trailers are often abbreviated as PV. Maybe they produced that?

Yeah, that is generally what it is when it comes to anime, I think. The acronym stands for "promotional video". |

Not sure why anime requires a separate business of making promotional videos, which is separate from production, but, apparently, it does. |
