Good to see Disney XD trying anime again. I was worried they were done with it due to the channel probably being on its last legs (thanks to streaming) and the abysmal failure of the Yo-kai Watch franchise in the US.

I wonder how badly censored this one will be.

Awesome. I wonder if it'll keep the Voice Actors from the game on the Switch.

I hope this won't mean there's not going to be anymore subbed Yugioh streams on Crunchyroll and I wonder what this means for Pluto TV's deal with Konami to stream Yugioh content in their own exclusive Yugioh channel.

Well, it's good to see Sevens finally dubbed and released in the West.

Well... Romin's skirt ain't super short like Kotori's was in ZEXAL, and Yuga's Sevens Road archetype's DMG ("Sevens Road Witch") doesn't look like she has anything to reduce much... Also there's no magic, death, or deadly stakes in SEVENS. So no "Shadow Realm" type censoring. I say it has a SOLID chance of being GREAT.

Credit where it's due, I'm impressed Konami Cross Media managed to get Yu-Gi-Oh! on network tv again. And if the Switch game localization is any indication, this may end up being the first decent Yu-Gi-Oh! dub.

Hope this also means Crunchyroll (or Hulu?) will start subbing Sevens soon. We're still waiting on legal subs for ZeXal as well, and a simulcast for Go Rush.

Not sure how many Disney Anime hyper will air before taking a break, but we know that the 52 episode first season is fully dubbed: https://ygorganization.com/yu-gi-oh-sevens-dub-soon/

And considering that article was from last September, I imagine Konami Cross Media is already into season 2 dubbing-wise...

Really hope it's got the dub energy of GX, that kind of goofiness would absolutely fit the tone of SEVENS better than a generic sedate dub.

There was also Doraemon which did horribly especially in Season 2. Though Disney Anime hyper didn’t really promote it.

Disney as a whole hasn’t given up on Anime. Afterall Disney+ has Black Rock Shooter coming out soon. Probably once the series ends airing on TV in Japan. This Yu-Gi-Oh! series is also probably more about Hulu but it’s easier to air on Disney Anime hyper than something like Black Rock Shooter.

Like Pokemon, after so many seasons, Yu-Gi-Oh players just play the games and don't really watch the TV series anymore

That's why the series gets passed around
