I absolutely loved dinosaurs when I was a kid and I also loved pokemon. This would've made kid me absolutely bonkers.

It would be interesting to find some paleontology artists who somehow had never seen Pokémon, give them the "fossils," and ask them to recreate the animal from the fossil, as they do with real fossils, just to see how close they'd come. ;D The coloring would undoubtedly be off, but I wonder how they'd do with the physical features.

This also reminds me of these artists' works.

...this makes adult me bonkers Laughing

Shame that they couldn't get Niantic to participate and maybe make those fossil Pokémon that in game appear around the museum more. A special Pokestop would make me want to spoof...er..visit there...
