Is this list just general stuff they’ve licensed or confirmed to be coming to Tubi?

There’s nothing in here about what specific titles are coming to Tubi. The way it’s worded is a very general “GKIDS has licensed the following titles…”

Tubi currently has The Case of Hana & Alice, Genius Party, Genius Party Beyond, Napping Princess, and Summer Days With Coo from GKIDS. Hopefully this means GKIDS gets its own Tubi channel and more titles will be on the way, though I doubt HBO Max will be giving any ground on its exclusive rights to the Ghibli catalog.

Yeah, I think Ghibli is like the one property that is recognized and respected as quintessentially from Japan even by people outside of the community. HBO Max would ask for a very high price tag if someone else wants a share of the pie/brand.

Awesome! Tubi's a pretty underrated streaming service, but it has a lot of good content on there. I can't wait to see what stuff from GKids they'll get!

I've seen the Tubi app around rarely go out of way to use it maybe down the road I'll make some time to check out some of their content.

Tubi is a great app that has a lot of classic shows on it including some stuff you can't find elsewhere like Dr. Slump. I hope GKids keeps Ghibli on HBO Max because they're like the main reason to even watch HBO Max half the time because it's like the only movies they never rotate. But I do hope we'll get to see more of Gkids' library including their non-anime films streaming as they have a lot of solid indie and foreign animation.

Makes me wonder if FOX plans on buying GKIDS in the future. It would be a good buy, especially considering that they haven't had a movie studio since they sold all those assets of what is now 20th Century Studios to Disney.

I was surprised to find Usagi Drop on Tubi the other day. I know nothing about this service, so I should probably take a look at what else it carries.

Tubi is honestly a gold mine for content, and it's all free too.

We don't need any more corporations buying other corporations.

True. Sony has Funimation and AMC has Sentai, and that should be more than enough. Especially since FOX has a pretty right wing corporate culture.
