One would think that Viz would be licensing most of the manga from "Jump" periodicals.

I wonder what took so long for Kemono Jihen to get licensed. I suspect it had to do with the content in the Akira arc. Regardless, I'm really happy to finally be able to buy it!

And now Viz & MangaPlus took big "L" for not licensing and translating Kemono Jihen.

I enjoyed the Kemono Jihen manga and I'm glad to be able to read it now. I hope someone will license the Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun manga next.

What's this? An Englsih license for Tanuki Ossan's Home for Wayward Boys? What a thing to wake up to.

Okay, consider this your trigger warning for child abuse and sexual assault.
Not so much Akira himself, but his brother Yui is coerced into becoming breeding stock and raped by every single woman in their all-female village for the sake of preserving their species, which is on the verge of extinction. Starting at age 12. The depiction in the manga is much more detailed than the anime version, but generally tasteful (as the subject can be, anyway) and abstract.
Hopefully, even with Seven Seas' reputation for cutting/editing out "problematic" content, they understand this is is one of those series you just can't handle that way. It's not light reading, but it's a story that deserves to be told. If they can manage that, I will buy every single issue in the biggest, glossiest edition I can find, because I miss my boys (plus girl) and I want them to be happy.

I really liked KJ. I had hoped another anime season as well. My guess is that's not gonna happen though.
