I'm going to have to give the manga a go as it looks and sounds promising—and that trailer! Hopefully the manga will get an official translation someday.

Wow, I didn't except that! One of my current favourite manga from one of my favourite authors is getting an anime adaption! The characters are likeable and relatable, the budding romance between the two leads is well told and the drawings of Makoto Ôjiro depict powerful emotions in a quiet mono no aware way. Night-time photography, a hobby of mine, plays an important role in the plot and the story takes place in Noto Peninsula, a place I once visited to shoot the night sky, which is just icing on the cake. I hope the anime adaption will be faithful to its source material and have high production values.
First Soredemo Ayumu wa yosete kuru, then Kunoichi Tsubaki no mune no uchi and now Insomniacs After School, all there is left is an announcement of an anime adaption of The dangers in my heart and 2022 would be a perfect anime year for me.

It's very good and Ojiro's two previous series -- Fujiyama-san wa Shishunki and Neko no Otera no Chion-san -- are very good as well. Neither of them are very long and I think few people are as good as Ojiro is at creating seishun romance. Her works are very low key and atmospheric often times having extended sequences or chapters featuring no or little dialogue.
One of my absolute favorite mangaka.

The manga is so go that no matter how bad the anime goes it won't metter.
That the manga exists is enough.
BUT!
If would be so go if Wit was the studio chosen to animate this...
Also, MAGARI WILL DIE AND YOU CAN'T DENY THIS!!

I was thinking about writing a little text about it, but only the tittle would already spoil what makes this manga special. There's a particular detail in this story and the execution of that detail is very unique to me. I wish to talk with people about it but I wish people would simple read and discover by themselves.
