Looks in-line with season 1, with slightly better production values.

I am a fan of the franchise, so this is a must watch, even if the first season was a dumpster fire. Hoping this new season is better, and it will be interesting to see how they recover the story after the first season's speed run.

Interestingly the preview had about as much animation as the first season. Usually they try and include a bit of sakuga to try and sell people on the season. Instead we got people holding the same frame of drawing with morphs or in cg. Best shot was the priest since he changed pose.

The first season was pretty bad, but it at least entertained me enough that I finished it. Will follow the second if my viewing card isn't very full.(And so far this looks like a relatively weak season coming up, so this sequel's timing is good.)
