A book in French has been released on Japanese filmmaker Satoshi Kon: Satoshi Kon, rêver la réalité (Satoshi Kon, dreaming the reality).
Written by Julien Seveon, a specialist of Japanese and pop cinema, it is the second volume of a trilogy started by Mamoru Oshii, rêves, nostalgie et révolutions (now sold out). The book offers a complete overview of Kon and his work, from his manga to his feature films and TV series. It features in-depth information on the making and the meaning of his films as well as numerous rare and never published before documents and photos.
